Our Approach
A coordinated plan.
A dedicated advisor.
A clear path forward.
Most people have the right professionals. A solid CPA. A capable estate attorney. An investment advisor they trust.
What they don’t have is someone making sure all three are working from the same plan.
That coordination gap is where financial lives quietly unravel — not in a dramatic moment, but in a thousand small misalignments that compound over time.
At Semper Financial Planners, the quarterback role isn’t a feature. It’s the entire model.
"Working with a new client isn't unlike flying an airplane. There's a lot of moving parts at the start. But once everything is organized and pointed in the right direction, it becomes about small, intentional adjustments — until we land safely where you always wanted to be."
The Flight Plan — How We Work With Every Client
Getting a new client’s financial life organized is a lot like preparing a plane for takeoff. There’s a lot happening at once — and it has to happen in the right order. Once we’re airborne, the adjustments get smaller. By the time we’re approaching landing — the retirement transition — our entire focus is on making sure the plane touches down safely, at the right speed, exactly where it was always headed.
01
Pre-Flight
Onboarding
We gather everything — accounts, documents, tax returns, estate plans, insurance policies. Most clients have never had it all laid out in one place. That clarity alone changes the conversation.
02
Taxi & Runway
Building the plan
We build the comprehensive financial plan — retirement projections, withdrawal strategy, tax framework, estate structure. Everything coordinated before we ask you to make a single decision.
03
Takeoff
Implementation
We execute the plan together. Portfolio positioned. Estate documents reviewed. CPA engaged. Insurance gaps addressed. Not all at once — in the right order, at the right time.
04
Cruising Altitude
Ongoing management
Small, steady adjustments. Annual reviews. Tax-loss harvesting. RMD planning. Life changes addressed as they happen. The goal is to keep you on course without drama.
05
Landing
The retirement transition
The transition from building wealth to living on it is the most complex financial moment of most people’s lives. We prepare for it years in advance — so when the time comes, the landing is smooth. That’s the whole point.
