I didn't get into financial planning because it seemed like a good career. I got into it because I've been obsessed with investing since I was a kid — saving everything I made mowing lawns and working farms, then watching that money grow. When I discovered compound interest, something clicked. Money, if you treat it right, works harder than you ever could.
After college, I commissioned into the Marine Corps, where I served as a company commander and as battalion financial coordinator for a unit of 1,000+ service members. Working with people who didn't make much money — but who could still build real financial security with the right priorities — confirmed everything I believed: it's not what you make, it's what you keep.
I started Semper Financial because I believe people deserve an advisor who treats their entire financial life as one coordinated plan — not a portfolio managed in isolation. My commitment to every client, existing and future, is simple: to build a firm that coordinates every dimension of your financial life, and makes you feel like you're the only client we have.
